Dedric Paxton Crump, 35, was charged Wednesday night with first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and taking indecent liberties with a child.
Police searched the Dunleith Avenue house in eastern Winston-Salem where the filming is alleged to have taken place. They seized items that included a computer, cameras, VHS tapes and floppy disks, according to the search warrant.
Police Lt. David Clayton declined to comment on what has been found on the tapes, disks or computer.
The tapes were allegedly sold on the street, according to the search warrant.
The warrant indicated that the incidents occurred in September and that police are still looking for other possible adult suspects and juvenile victims.
Crump has a criminal record that includes convictions for assault, larceny, possession of a weapon by a felon, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, according to court records.
He was being held Thursday in Forsyth County Jail with bond set at $35,000, a jail spokeswoman said.
