MONONGAHELA, Pa. (AP) ? A fired western Pennsylvania police officer has been charged with allowing two teenage girls to drink at his house last year and threatening a classmate because she contacted authorities. Former Donora patrolman David Cesovski, 31, was arraigned Wednesday on corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to minors and witness intimidation charges.
Cesovski, who is free awaiting a hearing Oct. 16, declined comment after his arraignment.
Cesovski was fired in February, three months after he was suspended while being investigated by state police.
State police said the girls, both 16 at the time, told authorities they were at the officer's home, about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh, on Sept. 21, 2002, and he allowed them to drink Canadian whiskey.
After his suspension, state police said Cesovski called one of the girls to ask her if she knew about his suspension and whether she had talked to police.
Cesovski also threatened one of the girls' friends who went to police that she "was going to get what was coming to her because she was the reason he was no longer a Donora police officer," according to court records.
