Larry Flynt Running For Governor

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - While fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger will have to wait until Wednesday night to find out if the Terminator is running for governor, Hustler publisher Larry Flynt has already announced his intention to enter the race and has even filed preliminary paperwork to be eligible for the October election.
"California is the most progressive state in the union," said Flynt, 61. "I don't think anyone here will have a problem with a smut peddler as governor."
Flynt has indicated that he may be willing to spend a large sum of his own money campaigning if his candidacy is taken seriously by the public.
One of Flynt's solutions for California's fiscal woes is to expand the role of slot machines.
