Nude Man Pays Prostitute To Hit Him With Cream Cakes
Published: May 23, 2004 - 11:10 PM
A KINKY customer got his kicks from paying a prostitute to pelt him with cream cakes, a court heard yesterday. The man enjoyed standing naked in a lane while dozens of cakes were hurled at him.
The fetish was just one of a number of bizarre requests to hookers outlined at a murder trial yesterday at the High Court in Glasgow.
Former vice girl Margaret McLaughlin, 36, was asked by Edgar Prais QC to describe the various services for which punters in Glasgow's red light district paid prostitutes.
Ms McLaughlin said that the most bizarre case was the man who arrived with dozens of cream cakes. Other punters included men who wore women's clothes and paid a vice girl to compliment them.
Another former prostitute, Kathleen Humphries, 47, said some van drivers paid for bondage sex in the back of their vehicles.
She said one punter, George Johnstone, 43, drove a van and was known to the girls by his nickname of 'Smack Me,W**k Me'.
Johnstone is on trial accused of murdering prostitute Jacqui Gallagher in June 1996.
Ms Humphries told Murdo MacLeod, prosecuting, that she understood Johnstone was set to give Jacqui a lift home the night she was killed.
She said Johnstone's van was parked in Bothwell Street across the road from Jacqui's patch.
Johnstone, 43, denies murdering Jacqui, of Foxbar, Paisley.
He is accused of wrapping her body in a curtain and dumping it at a layby near the Old Kilpatrick to Bowling road, Dumbartonshire.
Johnstone, of Millfield Wynd, Erskine, Renfrewshire, has lodged a special defence of alibi. He also named 14 other men and three unknown men whom, he claims, could have committed the crime.
The trial continues.
