BIRDSBORO, PA-September 2, 2004 — A Birdsboro woman was charged Wednesday with luring two teenage girls to a motel, where her boyfriend took nude pictures of them that wound up in a Birdsboro patrolman's desk, police said.
Denise D. Dierolf, 19, was the third person charged in the case. Charges were filed earlier against Dierolf's fiance, Jeffrey A. Madeira, 24, and Madeira's stepbrother, Patrolman Robert L. Newth, 28.
Dierolf was charged with sexual abuse of children, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor and conspiracy. Officials said Dierolf was charged as a juvenile because she was 17 when the alleged incidents occurred.
Madeira allegedly photographed Dierolf and two girls, ages 15 and 16, in lewd acts. The pictures were found in Newth's desk July 9 by Birdsboro Police Chief Theodore R. Roth and county Detective W. Douglas Weaver.
The investigation started in June when the younger girls went to county Children and Youth Services workers and told them about the night in the hotel.
