A Telford man who sent photos of his naked ex-girlfriend to her friends and family has been sentenced to 120 hours community service. Stephen Noades, a sales director for a welding equipment company, was also given a restraining order.
He had previously been found guilty of being involved in conduct causing harassment to Wendy Wagstaff after the end of their 12-year relationship.
Passing sentence, Mr James Edgington said Noades, 50, had shown no remorse.
Car windscreens
Telford Magistrates Court had previously heard that Noades posted naked pictures of Miss Wagstaff on holiday in Crete to relatives and colleagues after the acrimonious break-up of their relationship.
Copies of indecent pictures were also posted on hundreds of car windscreens parked outside the Inland Revenue offices in Telford in August 2003 where 39-year-old Miss Wagstaff worked.
Private and personal information was printed on the fliers including the names of four men with whom Noades suggested she had had sexual relationships.
Noades had denied he had been involved in a course of conduct causing harassment against Miss Wagstaff a year ago.
Miss Wagstaff, who also lives in Telford, told the court she has worked for the Inland Revenue since 1985.
