Bruce Weber will accept job at Illinois

Bruce Webber has agreed to a multiyear deal to replace Bill Self as head basketball coach at Illinois.

Webber met with assistant coach Wayne McClain Tuesday night to talk about the players already on board and about the future of the Illini program. A press conference to announce Webber's hiring should come Wednesday.

MICKEY Mouse may not like it, but Melbourne brothel Daily Planet aims to open a "sex Disneyland" in Sydney's CBD.

Chief executive Andrew Harris yesterday said the idea for an amusement park-like bordello came from former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.

He's the son of a millionaire who is running for governor of California under the slogan "California is my family," but the candidate has had little time for his own son, who has morphed into a gangsta rapper. Since he's rich and white and lives in Malibu, he's warned against "posing," but explains, "I ams who I say I ams."

DENVER (Reuters) - The National Enquirer on Monday apologized for a false report that some of kidnapped teen Elizabeth Smart's relatives were involved in a gay sex ring, while Utah's largest newspaper publicly chastised two of its reporters for helping and taking money from the tabloid.

Michael Jordan's last game to have star-attraction appeal

Man accused of putting obscene photos on cars

ALTON - A Godfrey man has been putting obscene pictures of himself, along with his e-mail address, on the windshields of young women's cars, Alton Police said Tuesday.

Prosecutors on Tuesday charged the suspect, 20-year-old Michael R. Ostrander, with three counts of distribution of harmful material for allegedly putting pictures of himself, with his penis exposed, on the windshield of a car that three young women had used on March 15
